Who we are

Relative Files is a family history podcast made by Terry Shea, Canterbury, Kent, United Kingdom. You can reach us at hello@relativefiles.com.

What we collect

  • The contact form: your name, email address and message. We use them only to reply to you.
  • The newsletter: your email address. We use it only to send you a note when a new episode or resource is out.

We don't sell your details, and we don't share them with anyone except the service that runs this website and its forms: Netlify.

How long we keep it

Messages are kept for as long as the conversation needs, then deleted. Newsletter addresses are kept until you unsubscribe.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete what we hold about you at any time. Email us and we'll do it. Every newsletter has an unsubscribe link. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your details, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

Cookies

This site doesn't set its own cookies or track you. Its fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, so your browser connects to Google to fetch them.
